Strategic Plan

We believe that in order to address the issues of social exclusion, it is necessary to develop a model of Integrated Community Development that is both seamless and holistic in its programme delivery, and is community based and sustainable in its operation. Accordingly, within each community where we operate, we seek to provide or partner with organisations that offer a one-stop shop to families and communities in a flexible and relational way that is built upon trust and is responsive to their felt needs. Within each programme area we seek to positively impact individuals, families and their communities. 2004

It continues to be a real privilege to see the work of the Trust develop into new areas of the City and to receive the approval of both the voluntary and statutory sectors for our work. It is a real credit to the professionalism and dedication of the staff who have always been prepared to go the extra mile and place the needs of the community above their own. This year each of the three divisions has expanded its influence and programmes and each, in their own field of specialisation, has actively sought to partner with key statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that a joined-up approach is maintained for the benefit of the community… Download pdf to read more.


2003

During this year we have seen several important developments. They include the introduction of new Trustees, who through their various backgrounds and areas of expertise have already contributed greatly to the development of the Trust, both in strategic thinking and added operational controls, and the appointment of two Associate Directors that has released me to move away from direct day-to-day involvement in order to concentrate on strategic issues, funding issues and on representing the Trust on committees both citywide and countywide… Download pdf to read more.


2002

2002 has been another exciting year of change and development for the Trust. Throughout this year we have endeavoured, above all else, to continue to show a level of love, care and commitment to the people we come into contact with that reflects the love of God in each and every situation. The year has seen us develop both as individuals within a team and also as a team within the community.
