This property is located in the heart of the Raffles estate in the west of the City. The building is the former Co-operative Food Store and now operates as a focal point for the Community to meet. The building provide a range of facilities, dedicated health room, family support / meeting room, children's play zone, large drop in lounge / reception area, education areas for alternative curriculum and general staff offices.
Current and Planned activities include:
- Health clinics to the area providing both ante and post natal provision, well elderly clinics, and health visitor sessions. The long term aim being to attract a nurse practitioner or equivalent post to the location
- Parenting and Family support work focused on the felt needs of the local area including five parent and toddlers sessions
- Adult education / recreation clubs for all ages through to pensioners
- After school clubs for local children aged 3--11 years of age
- Alternative Curriculum provision for those children excluded from main stream education
