Volunteers

Whatever area you would like to volunteer in, the Living Well Trust can give you the opportunity to make a real difference.

The opportunities to get involved with the Living Well Trust as a volunteer are many and varied.

Our Family Centre itself offers a wide range of opportunities in which you can make a real difference as a volunteer.

Our Family Centre relies heavily on people giving of their time in order to help in the day to day running of the centre. With this in mind we have set up a shadow board. This is an elected group of volunteers who play an active part in the decision making process of the Family Centre, Chaired by our Centre manager. It acts as an important link between the community we serve and our management team. Our Community driven programme is reliant on volunteers from Parent and toddler work to working with our after school children's clubs: If you can spare a few hours a week, we would love to hear from you.

Another important area of our work is with Children and Youth. Our youth Bus primarily operates in the west of Carlisle, it is a fantastic tool reaching out to the "Hard to Reach" young people of this part of the City. Volunteering with our youth team would provide valuable experience for yourself and rewarding in every way.

If you want to make a difference, contact the Trust office.
