West of Carlisle Mission

Two Churches remaining independent yet working in partnership in the WEST OF CARLISLE MISSION!

West of Carlisle Mission’ vision and strategy within a set of shared values. This over-arching mission will become the central focus of both Churches as they reach out into their respective communities and seek to demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways to their respective communities.

The common mission is to be Christ like disciples in the nations. In addition a common vision;

• Experience God’s love in Jesus
• Express God’s love in our relationships
• Evidence God’s love in our community
• Exercise God’s love in our action

Under the banner of a West of Carlisle Mission, both Churches operate under one common over-arching leadership structure reflecting the gifting and ministry of each church.

From the Raffles Community Church Revd Barrie Thomas, Pastor Jonny Gios Kath Queen and Jimmy Miller are initial representatives. From the Belle Vue Church of the Nazarene, Beth Banks, Jennifer Bell, Allan Cameron, and Allan Paterson. In addition, Jennifer Farthing and Ruth Rutty as Children’s Pastor and Youth Pastor respectively are co-opted to sit on the Board.
